THE AFRI-URBAN LAB: international two-day seminar

The AFRI-URBAN LAB will investigate a wide range of methods and tools that attempt to untangle and investigate the intriguing and complex dimensions of cities in Africa. The goal? To stimulate multidisciplinary, if not transdisciplinary scholarship.

The two-day seminar will be characterized by (keynote) lectures, video presentations, roundtable sessions, a workshop that deals with an actual Ugandan design problem, and by multiple disciplines. Speakers include international and national researchers from various academic research institutes and expertise centers: a.o. prof. dr. Filip De Boeck (KU Leuven), Ms. Ore Fika (IHS), dr. Andrea Stultiens (Minerva Art Academy), DASUDA, dr. ir. Nelson Mota, Anteneh Tola and Rachel Keeton (all TU Delft).
